Pixloo is an application for users to list properties for sale using virtual image tours, videos, and more. The site, depending upon the plan, can export virtual tours to other real estate sites and social media outlets. This may be used to list houses individually by the user or in addition to the services of a real estate service.Show more screenshots »
Pixloo was founded in January of 2010 and is run by a team with offices in Orem, UT. Since launch, site traffic has shown an upward trend. The team is small, but according to TechCrunch, there are plans to expand the business as they add more options for users.
Most of the other real estate apps are either mobile apps or Facebook apps. Pixloo is unique in that it provides a custom page with virtual tour, videos, and more. It may be exported to other social media platforms for maximum sharing, offering the most visible listing with maximum reach. It isn't limited and can be used with more flexibility.
Once all of the registration information is entered, a public page is created for the user. At this point, the user may begin customizing their website. To add a tour, the user is asked to enter property details such as address, year built, list price, square feet, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, type of garage, type of property (commercial, residential, etc.), MLS #, Co-Listing Agent with cell and office phone number and fax, the property status, tour title, property description, and main image. Photos are easily uploaded and users add names and descriptions of each. Videos are transferred from YouTube by providing URL. Manual Export is offered for a posting fee of $20 to Realtor.com.
Users may upgrade accounts at any time.
The application is easy to use and the interface is relatively intuitive.
Users must provide a valid email address, a username, password, and agreement to terms of service. Once this information is provided, the user must provide full name, address, telephone, fax, company, confirmation of whether the user is a licensed agent and which states he is licensed in, website address, Facebook and Twitter URLs, a short bio, profile picture and company logo.
Pixloo offers three pricing options. The free plan offers one active tour, 25 images per tour, 5 videos per tour, 5 exports per tour, and professional sales driven presentation. The professional plan is offered at a cost of $9 per month and includes 5 active tours, 25 images per tour, 5 videos per tour, 25 exports per tour, professional presentation and statistics. The premium plan, for $24 per month, offers 40 active tours, unlimited images and videos, 30 exports per tour, professional sales presentation, statistics, and the option to remove the Pixloo logo from the tours.
The additional cost for exports may be necessary to reach the most potential buyers. To clarify, exports are the moves of the tour to other sites such as Google, Facebook, or Twitter. This is critical to the increased success of the app in selling real estate.
Additional services are also offered, including editing images for $5 per photo, professional virtual tour setup for $10 per tour, professional flyers of the property for $1 per flyer with a minimum order of 50 flyers, and an MLS listing number for $399.
Pixloo uses integration with social media to assist users with creating online virtual tours with videos to sell their properties. Users interested in selling properties and are active social media users may be interested in using Pixloo to enhance an existing real estate listing or to create one.
